New owners Clark and Paula Waitt have years of experience owning and managing a motel in La Grande.  In late 2006 they purchased the Budget Inn in Baker City and have been busy bringing all the rooms up to date.  The lobby has been remodeled with a pleasant small fireplace, new furniture and counters.  The snack and breakfast area is pleasant and inviting.   A bookcase holds an assortment of fine reads and the daily paper is always available. 

They enjoy the wonderful town of Baker City and have made many new friends.  They are proud of their motel and are constantly improving the facilities and providing excellent management and a welcome atmosphere.  Whether you're coming to stay at the motel or you're a local wanting to see what's new, please stop by to visit!
